The little miracles of detox teas

Why wear out the little miracles of detox teas?

It is well known that in this day and age, we ingest and live in the midst of many elements that are harmful to our health. Saturated fats, alcohol, tobacco, pesticides, external pollution, medicines, etc. are all toxins that make up our daily lives. These elements overload, tire and dirty our body, so it is important to think about relieving and de-energising it with natural products.
Faced with this problem, plants seem to be the solution. Indeed, it is obvious that they have many virtues that can be beneficial to us by purifying, for example, the liver, intestines, kidneys, lungs or skin. While some (such as semi-fermented teas) help to burn fat, others (such as thyme) facilitate transit. But the virtues of the plants available to us do not stop there; many of them - in addition to fighting acne and orange peel skin - have an excellent diuretic effect, simplify digestion, relax and help to combat stress and anxiety.
This is the case in particular with lemon verbena, a plant originating from South America also called Lippia citriodora, which is especially recommended for treating depressive states, anxiety and stress.

What are detox teas made of?

By means of the natural elements that surround us, we can reduce the effects of the industrialized world by detoxifying our organism. Mixing different purifying ingredients with different tastes seems to be advantageous, this alternative allowing us to mix purification and pleasure.
Therefore, it is not surprising to see that detox teas and herbal teas are now in vogue, proving to be both effective and pleasant. Naturalpes has decided to take part in this fight against the toxic pollution we suffer from every day by marketing various herbal teas, the main ingredient of which is fragrant verbena. Indeed, the latter favors the treatment of after-meal ailments (such as bloating, flatulence or nausea), but also acts as a mild sedative on the central system, which favors relaxation and the fight against mental lassitude - in other words, the depression.

The range of detox infusions offered by Naturalpes :

The many herbal teas offered by Naturalpes are made exclusively from natural, organically grown products from 1001 Herbs, a company that grows its herbs locally (in Geneva to be precise) without using any chemical treatment. As a bonus, the benefits of the infusions are quickly felt and their varied flavours are suitable for every season.

The little miracles of detox teas

The first is the Summer Flowers infusion: its components are fragrant verbena, Moroccan mint, lemon thyme, basil, sunflowers, cornflowers and monarda flowers. These elements give the herbal tea a sweet taste enhanced by a touch of spice.
This very fragrant blend acts as an antispasmodic and mild sedative, while stimulating the entire body. This infusion is then especially useful to relieve cough and to support digestion.
Moreover, its preparation is easy: you just have to let the elements infuse cold for 12 hours, then filter them. Finally, the tasting of this infusion is particularly appreciated when it is fresh.

The second herbal tea is the Autumn Freshness Infusion: it is a very good accompaniment. Its ingredients are aromatic verbena, cinnamon basil, Moroccan mint, sunflowers, blueberry flowers and pineapple sage flowers. These ingredients make the infusion very sweet and aromatic.
This blend is so fresh that it feels like a mint in your mouth. In addition, the aroma is very strong (thanks to the camphor) and surprisingly sweet (thanks to the citrus).
As the plants in this infusion are both expectorant and anti-oxidant, they help to strengthen and stimulate the body.
Finally, it is quick and easy to prepare: just put a teaspoon of the mixture in a cup, leave to infuse for 4 minutes and strain before tasting!

The last herbal tea is Scented Verbena Infusion (also called Lippia citriodora-infusion): it is extremely refreshing and thirst-quenching.
Its sole component is lemon verbena, which has the virtue of easing bronchial and nasal congestion, and soothing indigestion and nausea.
Once again, the preparation of this infusion is quick and easy: just let one dose (= 1 teaspoon) of the mixture steep for 5 minutes, then strain and enjoy.
